Alpha - What is it?
Alpha is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life in an informal, fun and friendly environment.
The Alpha course consists of a series of talks, looking at topics including 'Who is Jesus?' and 'Why and how do I pray?' We meet for supper and each talk is followed by discussion in small groups.
Our Alpha courses generally run on Wednesday evenings although other times can be arranged to suit a particular group. There is also the option to spend a whole day together one weekend. You don’t have to come to the whole course – arrange to come along to the first introduction night and see what you think.
Who is Alpha for?
Alpha is for everyone; no question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish. We don’t assume any background knowledge of or belief in Christianity and everyone is welcome.
The course is designed primarily for people who don't go to church or who haven't been to church in a long time but are interested indiscovering what the Christian faith is really about - find out the truth and dispel the myths and misconceptions!
18 million people have done the Alpha course ... now you are invited to do it too. RSVP.
