On Wednesday 24 June approx. 70 people from the Ewell & Epsom Churches gathered at St. Barnabas' Church for an evening of worship & prayer. It was an opportunity to come together in a way that we reckon was a "first" for both the "Churches together" groups. We were able to pray for one another's churches & ministries & hear more about the encouraging work of "Street Pastors" in Epsom every Friday night - Epsom Street Pastors received a"local heroes" award from the Police the same night at Denbies!

We also prayed for the CTE "HOPE in Ewell" event taking place in Bourne Hall grounds on Sunday afternoon 28th.

Perhaps the most moving & significant symbol of our unity together in Christ was the placing of small pictures of each local church or congregation around a large wooden cross as we prayed for one another.

I hope & trust God will lead us to come together again in this way.
