Church Centre Services

10:00 to 11:30am (approx.)

We meet in the church building every Sunday morning for a family service. However, if this is not possible for you, then the service is also available online via Zoom (access details are sent by email, or contact the church office). If joining via Zoom, you will be able to join the room for pre-service chat from 9.40am.

Sunday school will be running concurrently in groups for ages 5-16

What to expect when you arrive:

  • Please do not come to church if you are displaying any Covid-19 symptoms
  • Please wear a face mask, unless you are exempt from so doing
  • As you come into the church the steward will meet and greet you with hand sanitiser, which we ask you to use to assist with preventing spread of this virus
  • A steward will take each person / family to their own allocated seat. Households will be seated 2m apart. Everyone needs to remain in their place for the duration of the service
  • We will be keeping a register and a seating plan to comply with government guidance regarding track and trace

  • People will be asked to leave the sanctuary one row at a time. They will follow the instructions given by the person leading the service and the stewards
  • Please also observe social distancing outside the church building.
  • On the 3rd Sunday of the month the Family service includes holy communion (Lord's Supper)
  • We invite all who openly profess faith in the Lord Jesus Christ to share with us in the communion service
  • If we are participating in communion, please bring your own pre-prepared communion (crackers/ juice) to the church for each service
Building Sanitation:
  • The premises will be thoroughly cleaned before and after every service
  • All high contact touchpoints (doorknobs, handrails) will be cleaned and disinfected throughout the week

Crèche facilities for children under the age of five are temporarily unavailable according to Government guidelines but we hope to be able to recommence soon.

We generally use the NIV (New International Version) in services. However, please bring your own Bible or use a Bible app if you would like to – we will not have any available for use.

Songs/ hymns are projected, but there will be no congregational singing (if you join us from home on Zoom, your microphone will be muted so feel free to sing along on behalf of the rest of us)

Hearing loop

A hearing loop is in operation in part of the main meeting hall - ask a steward if advice is required

Wheelchair accessible toilets and baby changing facilities are available. However, we encourage you to use the bathroom prior to arriving at church:

  • If you do need to use the facilities while you are in the building, we will ask you to use sanitiser on entering the bathrooms and wipe down surfaces before and after use.
  • Bathrooms will be limited to one adult at a time, even where there are multiple cubicles
  • All children under 11 must be accompanied by an adult
  • Facilities will be sanitised when each service ends

Our seating is flexible, provided exit routes are kept clear!
